Grace Ameis

I graduated from Clarkson University in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Sustainable Energy Systems. During my academic journey, I delved into cutting-edge research in fluid dynamics, conducting experiments using two-dimensional particle image velocimetry to analyze vortex ring movement through an axisymmetric coaxial aperture.

My professional experience spans a variety of roles, where I have honed my skills in both engineering and safety:

  • Plant Design Intern at Linde, where I worked on cryogenic piping systems for industrial applications.

  • Engineering Safety Intern at Disney, where I contributed to innovative projects aimed at enhancing the safety of guests and cast members across park operations.

  • Electrical Distribution Intern at National Grid, assisting in the design of residential electrical distribution pole projects to improve energy infrastructure.

Beyond my engineering work, I am passionate about creativity and design. I enjoy drawing, painting, and creating digital art, blending my technical expertise with artistic expression.
